How do we

prefer to work?

A collaborative Ecosystem Sustains a Resilient Community

We believe that collaboration requires intentional effort and resources. Bridging the gaps between all the great contributors, organizations and individuals, is catalyzed by trust. We uphold that partnerships ought to increase the sense of integration and belonging.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Olive Branch Revival Foundation (OBRF) a registered Canadian charity?

Yes. OBRF is a registered Canadian charity (CRA: 843548777RR0001). We issue tax receipts for eligible cash and in-kind donations, and our work is grassroots and rooted in serving communities across Canada.

Why do you prefer to work with others instead of running projects on your own?

Because we want positive impact that lasts. When partners are involved early, projects become stronger, more sustainable, and truly community-owned. That’s why relationship-building and long-term buy-in are a core part of how we work.

Is belonging really possible?

Belonging is one of the hardest things to build, especially today in a fast changing world, but we have seen it happen. When people are met with care, consistency, and genuine partnership, trust grows and communities soften toward one another. The stories and feedback we have received from people with different intersectionalities prove that belonging is possible.

What is OBRF's one wish?

We dream of a day when our work is no longer needed.
